"Ancient Chinese Bridge-Arch Bridge" special stamps were issued by the State Post Bureau on March 29, 2003. A set of four stamps with a total face value of 3.20 yuan. The size of this special stamp is 50mm×30mm, the perforation degree is 11.5 degrees, and it is divided into two formats-16 pieces per plate and 8 pieces per plate, all of which are overprinted by shadow engraving. Among them, the sculptors of "Maple Bridge" and "Lugou Bridge" were masters Mr. Jiang Weijie, while "Little Business Bridge" and "Shuanglong Bridge" were completed by the stamp sculptor Li Qingfa, and the stamps were carefully designed by my country's outstanding stamp designer Zhang Hongbin , Printed by Beijing Stamp Factory. Bridge construction has always had a very important position in the history of Chinese architecture, because its design is the result of the wisdom and strength of many people, and among them, the design of stone arch bridges is the most eye-catching. The designer of this set of stamps presented four historic bridges in my country from four perspectives.
