Tommaso Galli founded the Galli Musical Strings Company in 1890, making handcrafted gut strings. A lot of things have changed in the art of string making since then, but Galli is still in business and is one of the largest string makers in Italy. That kind of record for longevity only comes from making a good product.

Today, Galli uses thoroughly modern materials and techniques to make its guitar strings. The Genius line features traditional nylon treble strings and the Genius Carbonio includes carbon treble strings that are thinner than nylon strings and produce warm, elegant and clear sound. Both come with accompanying bass strings that are treated with Galli's Pro-Coated polymer process.


The Galli Gypsy Jazz Silver Plated Guitar strings, with ball or loop end, and the Gypsy Jazz Silk and Steel strings round out the line. Strings and Beyond also carries the Galli JF1150 Chrome Steel Flat Wound strings for electric guitar.
