Gibson J-250 Monarch Brazilian #41
Gibson could sell many more a year, but the selection criteria for materials and the extra time to build keep the J-250 Monarch acoustic's numbers low, making each guitar very special.
J-250 Monarch 20th Anniversary model is placed within the Super Jumbo division of Gibson Acoustics department. These models feature large jumbo-styled bodies and various high quality appointments. J-250 Monarch 20th Anniversary has a non-cutaway jumbo shaped body made of a spruce top and rosewood back and sides. This flat top model is available in natural color with satin finish and multi-ply top binding. The bridge on this model is made of rosewood with a moustache shape. The neck on this guitar is made of maple with a dovetail joint placed at 14th fret. The ebony fingerboard is equipped with 20 medium sized frets and intricate crown inlays. Other features include: bone string nut, Gotoh tuning machines, gold plated hardware and a heavily decorated red pickguard.
